SEBASTIAN – We’ve been pretty accurate in our forecasts about the rain in recent months, and we predict some of the wet stuff for Tuesday. Get out those sweaters and raincoats because you’re going to need them for Tuesday.
Showers will move in Monday night with a low near 60 degrees. While we need the rain, the biggest problem we’ll have tonight and Tuesday are the wind gusts of 25 mph.
We believe there will be rain because the winds are coming out of the north to northeast. Usually, we don’t see the rain when the winds are coming out of the east or the south.
While the rain is coming, we’ll have sunny days ahead for the weekend.
The winds right now are powerful as a cold front began to move into Sebastian at approximately 6:00 p.m.
For Tuesday, except a lot of rain after 2:00 a.m. and into the morning with a high near 68 degrees. Wind gusts will be around 25 mph. The overnight low will be about 62.
Wednesday will be partly cloudy with a high near 76, overnight low near 55 degrees. The winds will continue at around 20 mph.
The weather will begin to change on Thursday with mostly sunny skies and a high near 78 degrees. The overnight low will be 51.
Friday is looking great so far, although we know how the weather can change. But, we don’t think there’s any rain for the weekend.
Monday things are expected to change again; we’ll update that forecast by Sunday.
