Flood Advisory issued for Grant, Micco, Sebastian, Fellsmere

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for NE Indian River & SE Brevard Co until 7:15pm.

Torrential rain will lead to minor flooding in Grant, Batefoit Bay, Micco, Sebastian, Vero Beach & Fellsmere.

Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas…Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet 0-20 nm Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet.

At 4:23 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots.

This thunderstorm was located over Sebastian Inlet State Park, or over Sebastian Inlet, moving northeast at 10 knots.
