We already had a slight shower today, but there’s no rain in the forecast this weekend in Sebastian. However, it will be very windy, so make sure you take a jacket if you plan to be outdoors.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will have a high near 80 degrees; the overnight low will be 66. No chance of rain in the forecast. Mostly sunny skies.
However, the winds are going to be a problem all weekend. The winds are out of the east at 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 – 30 mph for boaters.
“Windy conditions are expected today from the East Northeast at speeds 20 to 25 mph with gusts near 30 mph. This will produce hazardous conditions for boaters on inland lakes and the Intracoastal waters,” The National Weather Service said.
There’s also rough surf on the beaches near the Sebastian Inlet that could produce a moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents.
It’s certainly not a good weekend for boaters or beachgoers, but there are many other things to do this weekend in Sebastian.
