SEBASTIAN – The weather in Sebastian and Vero Beach is going get a bit warmer this week.
Last Friday was cold and windy as we made it out to see the Spazmatics at the Captain Hirams Sandbar. The band sounded great, but most people were bundled up in sweaters and jackets. As usual, the show was great, and most people stayed until the end.
While last week was cold, this week is warming up. Get ready for Monday, because the high is going up to 71 degrees with an overnight low near 59. Winds will be out of the north at 9 mph.
Tuesday, Christmas Day, will be mostly cloudy with a high reaching 75 degrees. The overnight low will be 63. These are great temperatures for winter.
Wednesday we will see more sun with a high near 78 and an overnight low near 67 degrees.
Thursday and Friday it is expected to be warmer with some showers off and on, but anything can change by then. The winds will come out of the southeast, keeping the next cold front north of us. So, we might not see this rain. We’ll update later in the week. Expect highs near 81 degrees for both days, overnight lows near 68.
Even with a little rain, it’s not going to be cold like last week. Warmer days are ahead.
Merry Christmas everyone!
