Prepare for rain, gusty winds, and a dip in temperatures in Sebastian, Florida. However, this could be one of the final cold spells this year.
The National Weather Service (NWS) forecasts a 60% chance of showers on Monday, with temperatures peaking at around 83 degrees. A cold front will sweep through Sebastian by Monday evening, causing wind speeds to surge to 20-25 mph.
“Rain and storm chances will dwindle into the late evening hours before drying out into the overnight with skies becoming partly to mostly clear. Winds will be breezy outside of gusty showers/storms with gusts to 25-30mph from the southwest,” the NWS said in a statement.
The rain will clear out on Tuesday, but temperatures will cool to a high of 67 degrees and a night-time low of 48. Wednesday’s temperature will rise slightly to a high of 73 degrees, with a low of 57 overnight.
The warming trend extends into Thursday, forecasting a high of 78 degrees and a low of 64 at night. Rain is expected to return on Friday. The weekend’s weather looks promising, though it’s still too early for accurate predictions.
For boaters, sea conditions are 2 to 3 feet, increasing to 7 to 9 feet by Tuesday. Optimal boating conditions are Wednesday and Thursday.
