It wasn’t much of a storm; Isaias spared Sebastian of all the high winds predicted by the National Hurricane Center.
In Sebastian, we take these storms seriously and prepare for the worse. We’ve seen everything from tropical storms to major hurricanes.
There is rain in the forecast all this week from Tropical Storm Isaias as it moves farther north.
There is another tropical system in the Atlantic that will curve north, just west of the Bahamas, before it dissipates.
The highs this week will be near 91 degrees with overnight lows near 76. The winds will be 10 to 15 mph all week, with gusts reaching 20 mph.
The most important thing is the heat index values of 106. Please stay hydrated this week as it’s going to be hot.
So, how long will the rain last? Right now, the rain will continue until Sunday. But, this is Sebastian, and weather changes all the time.
