We won’t see temperatures dip near 33 or 34 degrees like last weekend, but expect cool nights and warmer daytime highs in Sebastian, Florida.
There is also a possibility for rain on Friday and Saturday, but it shouldn’t be enough to ruin any weekend plans. Overall, it will be a great weekend for outdoor events and boating.
Here’s a look at some of the daily temperatures (Highs/Lows):
- Friday – 77/65
- Saturday – 81/64
- Sunday (New Year’s Eve) – 78/65
- Monday – 79/67
Winds are out of the east at 5 to 10 mph, switching to the south on Saturday, and calm winds at 5 mph on Sunday.
It’s still too early to predict next week’s forecast, but the temperatures are about the same, with highs near 80 degrees and overnight lows in the mid-60s.
On the beaches and the Sebastian Inlet, there is a moderate risk of dangerous rip currents expected to continue through next week. Always swim near a lifeguard and never swim alone.
For boaters, there could be gusty winds of 30 to 40 mph during some of the rains. Seas 3 to 4 feet, and sometimes up to 5 feet.
It’s going to be a great weekend for fishing, and you can read this week’s Sebastian fishing report to see what anglers are catching at the inlet, beaches, and out at sea.
