SEBASTIAN – We waited until Friday to publish our weekend weather report because of the forever changing rain chance.
Friday will be sunny with a high near 86 degrees. It’s going to be a great day with an overnight low of 72. However, there are rip currents present near the Sebastian Inlet.
“If you find yourself being pulled northward in the surf today, do not attempt to swim directly against the current. Instead, either swim to shore or close enough to where you can walk back up to the point you came from,” the National Weather Service said.
Saturday will be another sunny day with a high near 87, overnight low near 73. There’s a rain chance, but we don’t think it’s going to rain at all because of the stronger southeast winds.
Sunday will be partly cloudy with some showers in the afternoon. The winds will be out of the southwest which will push the rain into Sebastian. The boating conditions Sunday afternoon could be a problem.
“Deteriorating boating conditions are expected from late Sunday afternoon into Sunday night as south to southwest winds increase ahead of an approaching cool front,” the National Weather Service stated.
More rain is coming Monday morning. We’ll have another forecast out late Sunday.
Overall, it’s going to be a great weekend, and there are plenty of things to do in Sebastian.
