SEBASTIAN- We’re keeping an eye on the radar as a line of severe thunderstorms are moving into Florida from the west with Sebastian and Vero Beach in its direct path.
So far, there are no watches or warnings right now from the National Weather Service.
Orlando, Rockledge, Vierra, and parts of Melbourne have had a lot of storm activity today. There were reports of a 1/2 inch hail and 50 mph winds.
The storms that we’re watching are coming in from the west between Fort Myers and Tampa. We will update you when more information is available.
Tonight, we can expect thunderstorms throughout the night. Some storms will be severe. The rain will continue into Tuesday and Wednesday.
As of 2:10 p.m. today, the temperature was 91 degrees in Sebastian. The overnight low is expected to drop near 70 degrees.
