Following the storm we had last weekend, some areas of Sebastian received 4 to 5 inches of rain, which is what we needed. Wind speeds at the Sebastian Inlet were 40 mph.
This week the showers will continue on and off with warmer temperatures. It is going to be a hot week!
Monday’s high will be 88 degrees with a 40 percent chance of showers and an overnight low of 72. Southwest winds at 5 to 15 mph.
Tuesday through Friday, we will have highs near 91 degrees and overnight lows of 72. There’s a 40 percent chance of rain each day. There will be a wind change out of the east at 5 to 10 mph.
It’s too early to predict next weekend, although the National Weather Service says there’s a 50 percent chance of rain on Saturday and Sunday.
The Blue Water Open Fishing Tournament was rescheduled for this Saturday because of the tropical storm.
