This week will be partly cloudy with rain chance increasing for the weekend in Sebastian.
We have a front moving down from the north this week, which is expected to bring showers and thunderstorms. This system could be moving through on Thursday after 3:00 p.m. Unfortunately, this will be a rainmaker for Florida.
Tuesday and Wednesday will probably be the best days of the week, with sunny skies and highs reaching 88 degrees. The overnight lows will be near 71.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will have an increased chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. The rain is expected to be scattered. We think there will be rain because the winds will be out of the west with the front that’s moving down from the north.
It may not be a good weekend for boaters unless the rain decreases. We don’t think there will be any small craft advisories, but the thunderstorms will make boating unsafe.
The good news is, if the front moves quickly on Thursday, we might not see any rain at all. So, there is some hope for a dry weekend.
There will still be plenty of things to do this weekend in Sebastian. Just take an umbrella if you plan on being out.
