Thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday in Sebastian, Clearing up Friday

We can expect thunderstorms on Thursday and Friday morning in Sebastian, Florida. Wednesday’s high will reach 90 degrees, 70 for the overnight.

According to the National Weather Service, the storms on Wednesday and Thursday “will have the potential to produce winds of 50 to 60 mph, small hail, very heavy rainfall, and frequent cloud-to-ground lighting as they move east.”

Boaters should be aware of the marine thunderstorm gust impact from the storms.

“Showers and a few strong lightning storms that develop this afternoon will have the potential to produce gusty winds up to 35 to 45 knots over the Atlantic and Intracoastal waters this afternoon into early evening,” the NWS said.

The storms should clear up by Friday with highs near 81 degrees and an overnight low of 67.

Saturday and Sunday will be partly cloudy, with a high near 81 degrees and an overnight low of 68.

We can also expect wind gusts of up to 25 mph from Wednesday afternoon until Sunday.
