SEBASTIAN – It will be warming up before the weekend, but the rain chance increases for Sunday.
It’s been cold this week with overnight lows in the upper 40’s as daytime temperatures have been in the lower 70’s.
Thursday will be partly cloudy with highs near 74; the overnight low will be near 51 degrees.
Friday will be mostly sunny and warmer with a high near 76 degrees, overnight low near 53.
Saturday will be partly cloudy with increased winds at 15 mph. The temperatures will warm up to 78 degrees with an overnight low near 63.
Sunday is when things begin to change. The wind will change from the southeast to the southwest at nearly 20 mph. Expect high winds with a 70 percent chance of rain. The high will reach 72 with an overnight low near 41 degrees.
The reason we think it will rain is because of the west to southwest winds. Winds blowing from the south or southeast usually keep the rain north. Unless the wind changes direction, we can expect a lot of rain on Sunday.
Monday and Tuesday will be daytime highs in the upper 60’s, overnight lows in the upper 50’s. Next week will remain chilly.
The weather might be some bad news, but at least Friday and Saturday are warmer. Let’s not forget where we live, rain or shine.
