According to the National Weather Service (NWS), we will see rain from Thursday through Sunday. However, we don’t think Sebastian will get all the rain in the forecast.
We will have stronger winds out of the east and southeast this weekend that could help push the moisture north of Sebastian. We’ve seen this repeatedly, and I wouldn’t cancel any plans yet for the weekend.
Thursday and Friday will have a 50 percent chance of rain with highs near 78 degrees and the overnight lows near 66.
The chance of rain increases for Saturday and Sunday, but there will be stronger winds out of the east at 10 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph. Highs near 82, the overnight lows near 66 degrees.
The east and southeast wind gusts will keep us dry if they hold up. These winds will determine whether or not we see rain this weekend.
Whatever you do this weekend, it will be great in Sebastian, rain or shine. There are plenty of things to do, and we’ll have the list of all events published today or tomorrow morning.
